Step into the heart of Balinese culture with a morning that awakens your senses. We’ll begin our day with a visit to a bustling traditional market, where you’ll learn to select the freshest spices, vegetables, and meats just like a local. From there, we’ll return to our beautiful kitchen nestled in a peaceful Ubud village. You’ll then get a hands-on lesson in the art of making a canang sari, the iconic palm-leaf offering used in daily Balinese prayers.
Once the spiritual preparations are complete, the real cooking begins! Under the guidance of our experienced Balinese chef, you’ll master the techniques to prepare a variety of authentic dishes: starters, main courses, and authentic dessert. Every step, from grinding spices to stir-frying, is a lesson in Balinese tradition. As the aroma fills the air, you’ll feel a true connection to the island’s vibrant culinary heritage. Finally, you’ll get to enjoy the delicious feast you created with your own hands, sharing stories and laughter with new friends. This is more than just a cooking class; it’s an unforgettable journey into the soul of Bali.
