DETAILED DAY WISE ITINERARY
DAY 1: SURABAYA – BROMO
Upon arrival in Surabaya, meet and greet by our guide then directly Surabaya City sightseeing featuring Arab Quarter, Chinese temple and House of Sampoerna (Cigarette Museum), further onward to Bromo. Overnight in Bromo.
DAY 2: BROMO – SURABAYA (B)
Early morning excursion to Bromo by jeep to Penanjakan view point to see the sunrise (weather allows), further down to reach the sand sea and continue on horseback to reach the base of Mt Bromo, after climbing the 245 stairs to the rim crater and enjoying the beautiful panorama of surrounding – back to hotel for Breakfast and shower, before continuing to Surabaya. Overnight in Surabaya.
DAY 3: SURABAYA – YOGYAKARTA (B)
In and around Yogyakarta
Transfer to the railway station to board the ‘Sancaka’ train (Executive class) to Yogyakarta. This four-and-a-half-hour journey will take you through the interesting Javanese countryside. After arriving in Yogyakarta, spend the afternoon visiting the amazing Prambanan Temple, the most elegant Hindu Temple complex in Indonesia. Overnight in Jogyakarta.
DAY 4: YOGYAKARTA – BOROBUDUR (B)
In and around Borobudur
After breakfast, visit the Sultan’s Palace and nearby Taman Sari (ruin of Water Palace built by the 1st Sultan) before proceeding onward to Borobudur, one of the most impressive Buddhist shrines in South East Asia. Admire the beautifully carved stone temples and Buddha images before transferring to the airport for your afternoon flight to Bali or other areas.
