This impressively massive lizard that can reach the weight of 140 kilos has its place on the list of endangered species and can be observed in the National Park of Komodo.

DETAILED DAY WISE ITINERARY

Day 1: ARRIVING LABUAN BAJO – ON BOARD (L, D)

This trip starts from Denpasar Airport, Bali. On arrival at Komodo Airport Labuan Bajo by morning flight, meet our representative and you will be privately transferred to Labuan Bajo harbor. The trip starts by cruising to Rinca Island for approximately two hours while lunch will be served on board. Upon arrival at Rinca Island observe the Komodo dragons on the island in their natural environment and an opportunity to observe other wild animals such as deer, horses, bird, wild buffaloes. Late noon time we will continue cruising to Koaba Island, which is also known as Kalong Island (Fruit Bat Island). It is a low-lying circular island measuring 500 meters across and appearing to comprise a core of taller trees surrounded by dense mangrove. At dusk, the sight of thousands of bats leaving their roost and heading for their feeding grounds is a magnificent spectacle. (If the weather permits, evening cruise to Padar island). Lunch, dinner and overnight on board.

Day 2: ON BOARD (B, L, D)

Early morning trekking to Padar Island to see the beautiful panoramic when the sun rising. Famous for its magnificent landscaping with its clear sky, beaches, and nearby attractions from the top of the hills. Back to the boat for breakfast, then continue to cruise to Komodo Island. Upon arrival in Komodo island, walk for 1.5 miles to Banugulung to see the activities of the giant Monitor Lizard “Komodo Dragon” which was scientifically described in 1912 as VARANUS KOMODOENSIS, which is up to 3 m long and about 150 kg, weight. The total number of these lizards is estimated at 3.500 – 5.000 inhabited in Komodo, Padar and Rinca Island. We will then back to the boat afterward and heading to Pink Beach to take an opportunity to swim or snorkel on clean and white sandy beaches of Pantai Merah (Pink Beach) which also considered as the best spot for under water life and corals. Lunch, Dinner and Overnight on board.

Day 3: ON BOARD TO LABUAN BAJO (B)

Breakfast on board. Cruise back to Labuan Bajo then transfer to your hotel for your beach stay. 

Day 4: LABUAN BAJO – DEPARTURE (B)

Morning breakfast and day at leisure, until you will be pick up for your departure transfer back to the airport. Services on this trip end when you have checked in on your domestic flight to Denpasar, Bali. Breakfast at hotel.
